It's all about flavor...

Bona Bona Ice Cream is the joyful creation of Chef Nick Di Bona.  For him, it’s all about flavor.  And to get the best flavor, he uses the best possible ingredients and makes it in small batches, from scratch, with love. 

Chef Nick grew up in a traditional Italian home, learning to cook with fresh, local ingredients.  When he went to the Culinary Institute, he was trained in classic techniques.  He went on to open his own restaurant to rave reviews. When he competed on The Food Network’s hit show “Chopped,” he won, with his ice cream.   Bona Bona Ice Cream is Chef Nick’s own hybrid of Italian gelato and American style ice cream.  His goal is to pack all the flavor he can into his rich, dense, creamy creation. All he ever wanted was to make amazing ice cream.  And now that’s exactly what he does.
